Here's a class with a sequence that is ideal for anyone working with anxiety, depression, general restlessness, or sleeping troubles.
The template for the class is: Sun Salutations, Standing Poses & Hip Openers, Handstand, Backbend, Seated Twist and Wide-Legged Forward Fold.
Feel free to adapt the postures being offered to suit where you are in your practice; but I encourage you to work within this template! It's adapted from the wise recommendations of Patricia Walden: "Standing poses help ground you... Backbends give you a feeling of hope as they invigorate you and open your chest... Inversions help balance your endocrine system and even out your emotions—by turning everything upside-down, they help you get 'unstuck'... "
